On 9th September 2018, the children of the vicinity were invited to this programme, and 24 children took part in the same.
We had a prayer moment, remembering all the girl children on their special day. Later we explained the reason for their coming together and began by showing them two videos; one on girl child how a child gets life because of mother’s love.
A short film on the rejection of the girl child, by her father yet she takes care of her father in old age. We showed it on the laptop and the children were very attentive to pick messages. Sr. Pushpa Parmar then discussed the videos and the issue of the girl child. The children took an active part in the discussion and promised to help the girl child. Than boys put off an item for the girls and together had some games. In the end, they played antakshari forming the words with letters of the alphabet.
We then honoured the Girl Children by giving them, sweets.
