Auxilium Convent High School Pali Hill celebrated the 73rd Independence Day on 15th August 2019. The Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Chauraria hoisted the National Flag after which they were escorted to the school hall by the animator, Sr. Leema Rose Joseph, and Headmistress, Sr. Shiny Alphonse. The program began with the lighting of the lamp and a meaningful prayer service. This was then followed by introducing and welcoming the Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Chauraria along with his mother and children. Mr. Vijay Chauraria is a successful entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He is also a well-wisher and a benefactor of our school.
The cultural programme which followed expressed the patriotism and love for the country. Students of class X performed a skit depicting the challenges of today’s society. The Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Chauraria then addressed the audience. In his speech, he motivated the students to excel in their studies. He also reminded them to make the best use of all the opportunities given to them in the school. The programme ended with an official vote of thanks.
