A STEP INTO THE WORLD OF MEDIA WRITING BY, VIDYA SATISH KARDILE STD 10 A

We are living in a world of media, and AI is used by everyone who knows how to use it. As students, we too get addicted to it and sometimes forget our own capacity. But today, our own students helped us to write an article in a creative manner.

Sr. Reshma Rosario introduced the resource persons — none other than our own friends, Mr. Vihan Vilayate, our past pupil, and Miss Jeevika, a Class IX student.

A media writing session was held at Auxilium Convent High School, Ahilyanagar, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. for the leaders and prefects of our school. The session was conducted by Mr. Vihan Vilayate, a recent SSC graduate (2025–2026 batch) and past pupil, and Miss Jeevika, a Class IX student who is part of the Province Media Club from our school.

The session began with a brief introduction, followed by an explanation of the basics of article writing. Two of our friends taught us how to create an attractive title, write an engaging introduction and body, and conclude an article effectively. They also shared three important rules of article writing and explained how to make an article interesting for readers.

An article-writing competition was then organized on the topic “The Rainy Disorder.” Students were divided into two groups: Classes I–VII and Classes VIII–X. The best articles from each group will be sent to the provincial level, and selected entries may be published in the provincial magazine.

The session ended with words of encouragement and a vote of thanks to our friends by Assistant Head Boy, Master Viraj. It was an informative and inspiring experience that improved our article-writing skills and encouraged us to express our ideas with confidence.
