Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavala, organised a Science, Mathematics and Arts Exhibition on 13th October 2026 with great enthusiasm and creativity. The exhibition was inaugurated by our Principal, Sr. Shiny Alphonse, in the presence of the Supervisor, Sr. Shobha D’Souza, students, parents and all the teachers of the school.

The exhibits were displayed in three different sections, highlighting the creativity, knowledge and talents of the students. The Science Section showcased various working models and innovative projects, while the Mathematics Section displayed informative charts and working models demonstrating mathematical concepts. The Arts Section presented a beautiful collection of arts and crafts, including paintings, knitting, ceramic designs, candles, key chains, crochet work, fabric painting, canvas painting and many other creative items.

A special highlight of the Science Section was the display of two innovative projects selected for the INSPIRE Awards. The projects reflected the students’ scientific thinking and their efforts to find practical solutions to everyday problems.

1. Kavya Sandeep Kudle – Std. IX presented a project titled “Detachable Wheelchair.” This project is specially designed for patients who are unable to use their lower body. The wheelchair can be attached to a bed, enabling patients to move from one place to another and return comfortably to rest.

2. Alaina Mathias Patrao – Std. VIII presented a project titled “Pedal-Powered Multi-Use System for Villages.” This simple and economical project is designed to generate electricity and pump water for farming in villages that experience electricity shortages.

The exhibition received an encouraging response from parents and well-wishers, who visited the various sections and appreciated the students’ hard work, creativity and innovative ideas. The event provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their talents, develop scientific thinking and apply their classroom learning in practical ways.

The exhibition was a great success, reflecting the dedication of the students and teachers and the school’s commitment to providing meaningful and activity-based learning experiences.
