ARTICLE ON THE FEAST OF ST. MARY MAZZARELLO - AUXILIUM VELIM

With immense joy and gratitude, we, the community of Velim, celebrated the feast of St. Mary Mazzarello on 15th July 2026. On this grace-filled day, the ADMA members, SHG groups, and the Somudai of Pimplafod joyfully and devoutly joined us to participated in the solemn Eucharistic Celebration, which was presided over by Fr. Macwin Mascarenhas, SCJ.

In his homily, Fr. Macwin beautifully highlighted the outstanding virtues of our Foundress, especially her humility and her deep rootedness in God. He encouraged all of us to remain firmly rooted in prayer, following her example. The Eucharistic Celebration concluded with heartfelt words of gratitude, after which refreshments were served to all.

On this special occasion, we also felt it important to share the goodness of our Mother and Foundress with our Open School and tuition students. Sr. Macline D'Souza, through her words of wisdom, unfolded the simple life lived by our Saintly Mother through a short narration on her life. She inspired and encouraged the students to remain rooted in God and to live life cheerfully. Refreshments were then distributed in honour of her.

The celebration concluded with hearts filled with joy and gratitude of being part of the vision and mission of St. Mary Mazzarello, inspiring us to live her values of faith, humility, and fidelity to the Charism.
