AMAR # 634 Provincial Gratitude Day celebration at Aux-Wadala

“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts”, says Henri Fredrick Amiel. We as a community decided to celebrate Provincial Gratitude day with following ideas: Put up the beautiful theme in the chapel. Pray for the communities each day by mentioning the name of the sisters, thus reaching out in prayers to the entire province.

AMAR # 633 HIV/AIDS awareness in Kune

On the 3rd of December 2018, an HIV/AIDS awareness programme was conducted at Ashish Bhavan, Kune by Akkar NGO. Around 30 women and a few men were present for the programme.  Valuable information was given by  Mr. Animesh Nayak and Mr. Chandrakant Sangle and it lasted for an hour. During the talk, they also stressed how and why to be careful.  

AMAR # 632 Children’s day celebration at Oros

The long-awaited day dawned with the bubbling joy of our children on Nov. 25, 2018. The Auxilium Girls Promotion Center celebrated it at Pokhran, Zilla Parishad School No. 1. AMAR # 631 Inter-Faith prayer at Madanthyar

On 18th November evening at 6:30 pm in the Maria Kripa Madanthyar with our hostel girls we had interfaith prayer moment in honour of Provincial Gratitude Day, with passages from different religious scriptures. The theme for the Gratitude day is Serve the Lord in holiness”, it was conducted by Sr. Mary Lobo. We invoked the Holy Spirit to be with us during the prayer moment, and we started the prayer.

AMAR #630 India’s 68th Constitution Day celebrated in Aux-Lonavla

The headmistress, staff and students were welcomed for the special, programme, conducted by USM members. The day began with a prayer service wherein the Scriptures of various religions were read out. Today on 25 November 2018 the Maria Niwas, Kalathur celebrated the 80th birthday of Sr. Beatrice Monteiro. A meaningful Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr.  Cyril Menezes OCD. AMAR # 628 Community Gratitude Day at Bableshwar

On 28th November we celebrated our Community Gratitude day on the theme: “Spread Peace of Christ”. PEACE was spelt out as Patience, Encouragement, Appreciation, Compassion, and Enthusiasm, and these virtues were the practice for five days, with the intentions for helpers, ADMA, women, children, Parish priests, and parishioners. AMAR # 627 'Manshakti' in Aux-Ahmednagar

Resource persons from ‘Manshakti Research Centre, dealing with Education, from Lonavala was also invited on the first day of school to motivate the students of Auxilium Ahmednagar so that they could study well.
