The Feast of our Patroness Bl. Eusebia Palomino was celebrated on 11th February 2019. Her picture was beautifully decorated and placed beneath the altar. We began our day with a well-prepared power-point Morning Prayer which was followed by a festive Eucharistic celebration. The long-awaited day for our second year nursing students dawned on the 26th January 2019 as they graduated as nurses. The programme began with the grand lezim procession played by our first year students who escorted the Chief Guest, our Provincial Sr. Rita Dora Thomas FMA, Guest of Honour, Sr. Aruna Castellino, the Manager, Sr. Teresa Plathara, in-charge of Community College Sr. Krupalatha Pereira, tutors and the second year students.
A seminar was held on Training for Child Care Institutions on 23rd and 24th January 2018 at Mazzarello Youth Centre, Wadala. Altogether 21 sisters from 15 communities participated in it. This seminar was organized in collaboration with the NGO Miracle Foundation India, who is partnering with the Salesian Sisters at PCI level towards training the boarding personal to provide family-based care in our boardings.
