On 2nd March 2019 Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar organized Women’s Day for the SHG women and for the women of the locality. The theme for the day was ‘Human Trafficking.’ The programme began at 11 a.m. with an entrance dance by the women accompanying the Guests to the stage. The Chief Guest for the day was Sr. Salome D’Souza from Nashik. She was accompanied by Sr. Reshma Nune and the Novices.
‘Day with God’ was kept up on Saturday 16th March 2019 with the theme “Is God no where? Or is God now here?” The day began by leading the children into a prayerful mood after which the movie “Evans Almighty” was screened in every class, giving out the message that in order to change the world, we need to do acts of random kindness to all whom we meet; God
On 8 March 2019 Women’s Day was celebrated at Auxilium, Ahmednagar. The sisters, helpers, teaching, and non- teaching female staff members were felicitated by the male staff and the schoolboys of Auxilium. After a well-animated prayer moment, each one was presented with a red rose and a speech was delivered, praising and appreciating the worth of a woman in God’s marvelous creation and especially in this era.
On 9th March and 16th March, the Sisters organized the Sports Day for the children of Zilla Parishad. It began at 2.00 pm till 5.00 pm. to cater to the needs of the two villages.
