On 17 February 2020, the students of CSRD-ISWR had organized a street play in Viduwadi and Nagapur Zilla Parishad schools to promote the importance of Education. The students are in their fieldwork through the Laura Vicuna Social Centre, under the guidance of Sr. Collette Gonsalves. They come to the Centre two days a week. On 15th February 2020, we the Sisters of Auxilium Convent, Pali Hill celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Sr. Shiny Alphonse. The theme of the day was “The faithful love of the Lord never ends!” We began the celebration with a prayer dance followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Fr. In today’s world, corruption, violence, and unrest have become so prevalent in our society that schools have taken up the responsibility to ensure that ‘Value Education’ is a subject to be taken seriously as part of the curriculum in order to produce not just educated students but responsible and honest citizens.
