From 30th January to 1st February 2020, 9 students from Std. VIII and IX along with two teachers and a Sister attended the 6th Peace Convention at Christ University, Bangalore. During this programme there were talks by experienced persons from different areas of the social environment, sharing by persons who have made a difference in the society, sharing ideas on peace by students and group discussions for preparing action plans.
On 28 December to 31st December, two students and a teacher attended the Knit India programme at Prerana Sadan, Indore. On 17 February 2020, the students of CSRD-ISWR had organized a street play in Viduwadi and Nagapur Zilla Parishad schools to promote the importance of Education. On 15th February 2020, we the Sisters of Auxilium Convent, Pali Hill celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Sr. Shiny Alphonse. The theme of the day was “The faithful love of the Lord never ends!” We began the celebration with a prayer dance followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Fr. In today’s world, corruption, violence, and unrest have become so prevalent in our society that schools have taken up the responsibility to ensure that ‘Value Education’ is a subject to be taken seriously as part of the curriculum in order to produce not just educated students but responsible and honest citizens.
