“Each time a women stands up for herself, she stands up for all women”- Maya Angelo To mark the 8th March 2020, the world international Women’s Day, the 4 Sisters and around 80 young girls of our Maria Vihar Youth Centre, Nashik participated in the Nirbhaya Marathon, organised by Nashik Police. Around 5700 women and a thousand Nashikites ran giving messages of women safety. Enthusiasts were present in large numbers
On 7th March at Maria Vihar, Nashik the hostel girls were much excited as it was their Annual day. The programme began at 3.30 pm. The theme for the day was ‘Women Empowerment’. On 7th March 2020, Mr. Joy Fernandes of J. Media – Vadodara, conducted a session on Photography for the teachers of Auxilium Baroda. He highlighted the basic ideas on how to capture pictures. During the session, the participants were asked to capture pictures. The criteria were simplicity, the different position, and angles of the various scenes.
