On 20th December 2020, the Past pupils Unit of Auxilium Convent Pali Hill together with the sisters and a few staff, celebrated Christmas with 54 children from the streets of Bandra. They were gladly welcomed at the gate. After registering their names, snacks were distributed to all. The animators then entertained the children through various games and fun activities. They also danced and played to their hearts’ content.
Sr. Moksha Mary Anthonappa instructed the children about sharing and caring while Sr. Teresa Vettickal delivered the Christmas message of peace and joy. Every child received a blanket as a gift and prices for the games. Sr. Shiny Alphonse thanked everyone: the sisters, the teachers, the past pupils and the volunteers for their co-operation and generosity. The celebration came to an end with a sumptuous lunch and a group photo.
