The 4th of November was a day that some of the pupils and past pupils looked forward to. It was a day of games, dance, and fun, the ‘Diwali Dhamaka’. We began at 5 pm with the lighting of the lamp invoking the presence of God – the ‘true light’, in our midst.
This was followed by a short prayer moment and words of welcome by Sr. Joanita Antao. We then had a few games, spot prizes, and dance. It was an evening of togetherness and enjoyment. Snacks were distributed during a short break. They left for their homes at 7.30 pm looking forward to many more joyful evenings together.
