A novel creative idea was executed in the tableau competition held class-wise. Each division from Std. V to Std. IX, along with their class teacher, planned the tableaus. Different themes like culture, unity in diversity, festivals, ecology, urban and rural settlements, and customs were depicted creatively by the students. Places were given in the school campus for every class. Four judges from outside were brought in to select the best tableaus. Many classes saw a 100% participation.
Students from the neighboring schools were also invited along with their staff members to see the tableaus. There was also Media coverage of the event by the local Marathi newspaper. The lamp of knowledge that had been lit by the four judges, Sr. Teresa Joseph, the animator and Sr. Sheela Furtado, the headmistress burnt brightly as the creativity of the students was seen in every tableau. The judges were highly impressed with the efforts of the students. Sr. Sheela also expressed her happiness at the outcome of this event.
