20th December was the cultural high point in our Eusebia Pre Primary School. It was our School’s Annual Day. Here we experienced togetherness as Sisters, Staff, Parents, and Helpers. All pooled in their energies to make the day a success, “and indeed it was”. The theme ‘SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH’ was a very fitting slogan brought about by a beautiful song by the H.K.G. children. The words ran thus, “the earth is my home and I promise to save it…”
The Chief Guest, Mr. Anthony Samuel, added to the theme by his well-prepared speech on eco-friendliness. The show ended with the tableau on the Nativity scene. The children were very happy to get their Christmas gifts and School closed for the Christmas vacations.
On the same day, we had the Oratory Day, where 50 children and some of their parents came to enjoy the programme prepared by the oratorians themselves. The children took part in the Nativity Scene, which was well prepared by the Sisters. They had a little sing-song and dance and went home happily with the gift and sweets.
