In Maria Vihar Nashik the Christmas celebration began from 22 December.
There’s something about Christmas that brings people together — families, friends, and even people who don’t know each other. And so to celebrate this festival of Joy Peace and Love the sisters and teachers of Nursery and Vocational Training Centre organised a short programme in the morning and afternoon of 22nd December and then on 23 we had a special celebration for all our helpers including newspaper, milk and electrician man and their families and in the evening the few Hostel girls who were with us. On 27 December The hostel Girls along with sisters went to share the joy of Christmas with the Shelter boys of Don Bosco. A beautiful prayer service and different games were conducted during these days..
Sr.Philomena D’Souza our community animator gave a beautiful Christmas message… Sisters wished each groups with carols of different languages.. We went to share our happiness with all the vendors near our house street giving sweets and masks..
Even the Pandemic, did not stop us in spreading the Joy of Christmas…
