This year the Republic Day celebrations were on a low-key affair in most of our schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So to us here at Auxilium Ahmednagar, nevertheless the spirit of the student and class teachers remained the same. They had organised online cultural events, including patriotic songs, dances and speeches.

Following the COVID-19 safety rules, the Sisters and a few teachers had an offline celebration for the parents and the past pupils. The celebration of the 72nd Republic Day began with the unfurling of the Flag by our School Manager, Sr. Rita Lobo. This was followed by a meaningful prayer service. The day was further enlivened by an inspiring speech by Sir Suhas K. He motivated the parents and the past pupils to honour the integrity, uniqueness and diversity of the nation. The best part of the day was of past pupils sharing their emotions of nostalgia while witnessing and enjoying the game. With ignited patriotic feelings, the programme came to an end but the Alumni’s selfie time went on till noon.
