AMAR # 1350 “Celebrating God’s Faithfulness at Wadala”

On 19th March held triple celebrations for Auxilium Convent Wadala. The solemnity of St. Joseph, the closing of the 70th year of Auxilium Convent High School-  Wadala, and the Silver Jubilee of our 4 Srs, Gloria Ferrao, Fatima Rego, Shaila D’Monte, and Elveera D’Souza. The day commenced with a solemn celebration with the Morning Prayer at MYC Chapel.

We celebrated the Septuagennial Anniversary of Auxilium Convent High School Wadala. Various programmes were prepared by the students and teachers and these were telecast through YouTube link.

In the evening, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Rev. John Rodrigues and concelebrated by Fr. Jude. During the liturgy, the journey of our jubilarians was compared to the bricks who offered themselves to build up the edifice. We were also reminded of the closing of the 70th Year of Auxilium School and the enormous service rendered to the society.  In his homily, the bishop highlighted that each one has their own unique role to build up God’s edifice of love. After Mass, the jubilarians were felicitated with flowers and gifts. Sr. Shiny Alphonse raised the toast and congratulated the Sisters on this milestone. The past pupils staged up a programme, and the Sisters wished the jubilarians with a melodious song.   The day came to a close with sentiments of joy and gratitude.
