AMAR # 1352 Workout at Auxilium Baroda

Exercise not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your moods.

How true! And in these unpredictable times with the second wave of the coronavirus, Covid 19 is rearing its ugly head again. We have but two options – one to raise our hands to God and to stay safe.

And so keeping the Scouts and Guides motto in mind – ‘Be Prepared’, we, here at Auxilium Convent High School Baroda, are doing our best to tackle this virus. In addition to keeping the norms of social distancing, wearing a mask, sanitizing often, etc, we begin our day invoking the blessing of our God. This is followed by a 10-minute workout by Mr. Bharat Patel.

The teachers are seen enthusiastically following the instructions be it aerobics, strength training, stretching, or balancing.  The workout begins with a few warm-up exercises. Age or size seems to be no deterrent.  Many were appreciative of this initiative and confessed that felt more energetic, rejuvenated, and cheerful.

These precious ten minutes seemed to get them through the entire day and would look forward to the next day.
