Teacher’s orientation programme was conducted on 22nd July, 2021 from 9am to 12.30 pm. The programme was organized by Sr. Shiny Alphonse, headmistress of Auxilium Pali, Bandra and attended by teachers from Pali Hill, Carona, Lonavla, Ahmednagar, Pansora, Baroda and Wadala.
The Guest speaker was Fr. Johnson Ponthempilly SDB, from the Bangalore Province currently serving as Vice Principal of Don Bosco College Wayanad, Kerala. The session started with a short prayer by Sr. Judy Gaikwad and a welcome speech by Tr. Namita Correia.
Fr. Johnson’s theme was centered on the ‘Mental health and well-being and the Role of Teachers. Skilfully and meticulously he guided the teachers through the PowerPoint Presentation and a vibrant interactive session in understanding teachers’ role in the physical, mental, moral and spiritual well-being of students. The session ended with vote of thanks by Tr. Snehal Naidu from Ahmednagar and Tr. Yolanda Ferreira from Pali Hill Bandra.
