Amidst the silence and vacuum created by the pandemic, Auxilium Carona looked grand at sight. One could hear these melodious words- If you wish to know the secret, what we look so grand a sight. If you wish to know the reason why our hearts and eyes are bright… With these sentiments our eight young and dynamic children came forward to be part of the School cabinet for the year 2021-2022.
On 24th July 2021our eight chosen candidates matched in to take their oath as Head Girl,,Asst. Head Boy, Captains of the four houses, with two eco leaders taking their oath to leave their green mark on our damaged Mother Earth.
The investiture ceremony began with the parents leading their child with a lit lamp to the stage. It was a sign of their assurance and support to their child and towards the school. Sr. Dolly Rodrigues, the Head Mistress did the honours of investing the chosen children. After the oath taking ceremony Sr. Iona Barretto, the Manager presented a spray of flowers to each leader congratulating them and wishing them good luck. Sr. Iona encouraged the newly elected leaders with her impressive message.
The School leaders with their grand outlook had this message to all of us. We Auxilians- Dare and hope to rise and shine, being heralds of peace by putting others before self. Let’s dare to care for our Mother Earth and stop this culture of being uncouth, lest it’s too late to realize the worth of our Mother Earth.
Let’s make Auxilium proud. For Auxilium is a place for me and you.
