On 12th December 2021 Auxilium Convent Lonavla celebrated Youth Day with the Parish youth.
The youth gathered at the Convent at around 10 o’clock in the morning and were offer some snacks, after which, there was a short icebreaker during which, they were divided into groups. The youth were then lead to the chapel where they had a short prayer moment, inviting them to be little lights in the world. This was followed by a short session by Sr Maria Shirsath on World Youth Day, its significance and its beginning. The animator Sr Caroline Menezes, then spoke to the youth, on the letter of Pope Francis to the youth on the occasion World Youth Day 2021. The youth were very active and enthusiastic all through the session. This was followed by some games after which there was the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The day ended with a meal of togetherness.
