The Investiture ceremony for the new academic year 2022-2023, was held at Mazzarello Kendra, Kasarkod, on 29th June 2022 and celebrated it with great pomp and dignity.
The celebration commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and with a meaningful prayer service animated by the teachers and students of our school, praying for our new student council. Thereafter a skit was performed by the students, emphasizing the important role of leaders in the society and wished them with a song. Later every member of the student council was introduced and was honoured as the leaders of the school with scarves, sashes and flags. The oath ceremony was led by the in charge teacher of leaders, wherein the leaders pledged to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. As the new council members took the oath, they looked resplendent in their attire as leader and uttered each word with much pride and sense of dedication.
The principal of the school Sr. Rita D’Souza congratulated the newly appointed council members and in her address to the students, she reiterated that being leaders is about responsibility and authority. She guided them to be worthy role models for their peers by being exemplary in their disposition and demeanour. She wished them and assured her support to do well in the present academic year. The young leaders bubbling with joy sang the song ‘we can achieve’ and made everyone to feel proud. The celebration of investiture came to an end by singing the ‘National Anthem’.
