In order to guide the students and make this year a fruitful one we teachers needed to be prepared and hence we had our Orientation on 25th June 2022, to be well prepared to help our students. The resource person for the day was Fr. Anthony Lopes CSSR, who led us into the sessions from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The topics that he touched upon were: To help teachers re-discover their passion, how to create a better learning environment and positive attitude towards children. He developed these aspects through games and group discussion. It was indeed an eye-opener for us teachers especially to be aware of the difficulties of students who have joined school after the pandemic.
It was not going to be an easy task to accomplish but we were all the more determined not to leave any stone unturned to educate our students in the most appropriate way. We were thankful to Fr. Anthony for guiding us through these sessions and making us aware of our motivation as teachers.
