SCHOOL GRATITUDE DAY

School Gratitude Day was celebrated on 24th September at Auxilium Ahmednagar. Students from VI to VIII gathered for this celebration. All the sisters of the Auxilium Ahmednagar had a grand entry. Students from various standard were dressed beautifully like angels and dapper gentlemen.

The sisters were warmly welcomed by a huge round of applause. m various standards were dressed. As beautiful angels and Dapper gentleman. The programme began with the intercession of the Almighty through a prayer service conducted by the students, and thanking the Almighty for each sister’s presence. The prayer service was then followed by a beautiful prayer dance by the 11th standard girls.

After the prayer dance, the tiny tots of Pre-primary presented a wonderful dance, expressing their love and gratitude for all the sisters. Speeches were delivered by the students from high school and through their speech, they highlighted the life and dedication of all the sisters and expressed their gratitude through their words of love and appreciation.

The primary children performed a wonderful dance, which made the sisters’s faces light up with gracious and bright smiles.  It was after this when the teachers from all the three sections – pre-primary primary and high school shared the sentiments of gratitude and thankfulness for each sister and made them feel extra special.

The high school students from std VIII brought the upbeat Bollywood touch through the dance. Their performance had all the sisters, tapping their feet to the rhythm.  The song presented by the teachers overwhelmed the sisters and the entire atmosphere was filled with feelings of gratitude and love.

This was then followed by the felicitations. The student representative from each standard gave saplings of flowering plants to Sister Rita, the Manager, followed by the teachers, giving the saplings of indoor plants. The class monitors from every class, gave gifts which are on the behalf of their entire class, as a contribution for the Gratitude Day

The Manager, Sister Rita addressed the teachers and students sharing the sentiments of love and gratefulness. She gave a meaningful message about the about how gratefulness is an important virtue to inculcate in one’s character. Lastly, the program concluded on a wistful and a happy note with the vote of thanks. Interesting games were conducted for the sisters followed by meal.
