Today the 2nd of October, our Boarding girls of Pushpanjali, Dakor, accompanied by Sr. Savita Parkhe, Sr. Benzina Vayaghar and Tr. Venesa Khristi took a rally in honor of Gandhi Jayathi on cleanliness purpose, especially cleanliness in their houses and the surroundings. We started the rally around 4.00 pm to a village nearby Dakor called Dakor Nani Bagol. Children carried placards with slogans and on the way said aloud the slogans as following:
- Cleanliness is sovereignty.
- Remove the filth.
- Remove the filth, save the country.
- Long live Gandhi and so on.
It was a good experience for the children. People were so happy to see the children coming out to make them aware of how to keep the place clean. We came back by 5:40pm and did the cleaning in our campus. All the children were happy and excited to keep the place clean and tidy.
