AMAR # 1746 - "Children; Buds in the garden" - Wadala

Auxilium Convent High School Wadala teachers were excited and all ready to showcase their appreciation for their most wonderful students on 14th November, 2022. The children wore traditional clothes.

The programme commenced with a beautiful prayer service by the teachers.  The teachers staged an entertaining program for the students, to reciprocate all the love and affection that the children shower on us throughout the year. The teachers presented humorous skit, songs and dance, followed by a magnificent Fashion Show participated by almost all the teachers, principal, Superior, Head teacher and the sisters. lt was such a glorious program that the children were enthralled by it.

Talent contest activity was organized for the students.

Topics for the Talent Contest were:

Std. I – Articles with ice-cream sticks. Std. II – Button Art Std. III – Mask Making of animals or birds Std. IV – Pen/Pencil holder

The students had a Jam Session after lunch. It was a great day for the students filled with fun and excitement after a hiatus of two long years of virtual celebration. The energy of the children was infectious to take grown-ups back to their childhood.

The day ended on a memorable note with the children feeling special as they carried back home a token of love—a cap according to their house. They were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.

Children’s Day (secondary section) :

This day was celebrated in the school quadrangle at 8.30 a.m. with full zeal and enthusiasm at Auxilium, Wadala. The celebrations commenced with a prayer service animated by teachers and sisters seeking God’s blessings to protect and guide our students. Next in line was a foot tapping action song presented by primary teachers. The action song was followed by a splendid dace performance by secondary teachers. The show stopper of the programme was the fashion parade done by teachers and sisters. To add some fun to the day a jam session was organized for the students to shake a leg on their favourite songs. We believe that each and every child at school is a store house of talent and to honour this a talent competition was organized for the students. The theme of the competition was best out of waste and the topics for each class was as follows –

Class 5 – Pop – Up Cards Class, 6 – Pen Stand Class, 7 – Musical Instrument, Class 8 – eye mask, Class 9- Flower Making, Class 10 – Stick Puppet.

Form each class best five items were selected and the students were facilitated with the certificate of appreciation. Celebrations are always incomplete without gifts, hence students were given their house colour cap as a present. The Children’s Day celebration was an excellent exhibition of the love the teachers and sisters had for the students.

 The programme started by invoking Gods presence. Teachers creatively expressed their love for the students through different cultural activities like dance, action song, Bollywood songs quiz etc. Students enjoyed the programme to the fullest.
