Auxilium Caranzalem celebrated the feast of Bl. Laura Vicuna with much fervor and enthusiasm on 22nd January. The members of the Laura Vicuna Group animated the morning assembly and put up a short skit highlighting the virtues of the saint.
We then had a short quiz, wherein the students were asked a few questions on her life. During the entire day, the statue was well decorated and placed at the entrance of the school. The group was given a treat by the animator of the Laura Vicuna group, Sr. Soccorina Vaz.
In the primary section too, the frame was decorated and the students has a special assembly. Sr. Precilla D’Souza told them the story of this young saint, encouraging the little ones to follow the example of Laura.
