In the recent years there has been a new surge of enthusiasm growing in Goa for Basketball. In order to promote this game further, the Goa Basketball association has invited two Spanish coaches, Carlos Manrique Ganuza and Adria Bernaus Cotonat to Goa in order to conduct special training camps in the month of January.
We, the management of Auxilium High School, Caranzalem was delighted to be part of this training programme. The two coaches came to our school campus for three days in a row to train our young budding basketball players – both boys and girls. After the three days of training in school our children went to Don Bosco Grounds, Panjim to continue this training programme for another three days. This has been a real source of encouragement for our students.
