AMAR # 669 CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT AUXILIUM - WADALA

Christmas is all about love. It was the love of God that made him send His only Son to us. Jesus gave his followers a new commandment to love one another, just as he loves us. This is how we show that we are followers of Jesus- “by our love for one another.” Patience, kindness, helping and caring are the ways we celebrated the love of Jesus and these things make for a happy, peaceful home.

We at AUXILIUM WADALA celebrated Christmas on 21st with the students and teachers. The KG students and teachers put up a beautiful programme on 20th December. While the Primary and Secondary celebrated on 21st at 8.30 am. The students presented the life story of Jesus, through the tableau. Sr. Meena D’Silva gave the message to the Secondary and Sr.Gloria Ferrrao to the Primary. The Christmas sweets and gifts were distributed to the students.

At 12.30 the Teachers and Sisters gathered in the hall for the exchange of Christmas friend’s gift and we had great fun and togetherness. Later we enjoyed the fellowship meal organized by Tr. Aurelia the co-coordinator of KG section.

The love of Jesus bears witness to all goodness. The Son of God Himself tells us that if we cannot feel the breath of our Lord if we do not love our neighbours as Jesus has loved us then our life here is meaningless. We ought to remember that there is nothing greater than the love we share for our neighbour.

Christmas is all about sharing. We shared our happiness with our Support staff through a short programme.  We began with a prayer moment, game, carol singing and together shared in the delicious lunch prepared by us. Sr. Meena then asked them to pick up a gift kept under the Christmas tree and expressed her gratitude for all that they do.  Let us celebrate this CHRISTMAS with joy and love for ourselves and for one another.
