AMAR # 674 ANMOL DHAMAKA  2019 at Tangudama

On 06th January 2019, the Anmol Dhamaka attracted around 850 children from Different NGO’s in Belagavi City.  Children from different NGO’s arrived with well-arranged bus service sponsored by Mr. Saji Kutti, KLE Ayurvedic Hospital, Hindalco Company, supported the travel of children of various categories and NGO’s.  Around 16 NGOs with staff and children were present for this great event. All were extended warm hospitality with delicious breakfast, pav bhaji & tea. Then each group played stall games like bowling, aim the goal, shoelace, searching the lock, arranging the nuts etc.

With attractive prizes children of different categories blind, deaf and dumb mentality challenged, street children all formed part of the programme. Inauguration began with prayer dance by Anmol Tangudhama. Then Auxilium Nandgad children welcomed everyone with their welcome dance. The Chief Guest was Mr. Krishnaraju Kumarvel (The Unit head of Hindalco Industries), Mr. Vishwas Shinde (Hindalco Industries HR Head), Guests of Honour Sr. Magdalene Sequeira (Vice-Provincial Mumbai Province)  Sr. Angeline Fernanandes (Superior of Auxilium Convent Nandgad) Mr. Basavaraj S Chikkaldini ( Mayor Belgavi) were invited to the Dias for felicitation and welcomed each one  with a Shawl,  and potted flower.

We also felicitated the 16 NGO Managers.  These managers were special guests for this event.

Then the Annual Report of 2017- 18 of Anmol Tangudhama was presented by Sr. Smitha Monis.

Then all the people who were at the dais along with the children went to light the lamp asking God to light up the lives of these children. Chief Guest Unit head of Hindalco Company Mr. K. Kumarvelu expressed that we kept this programme at his place he felt it was a great opportunity for him to serve the poor and marginalized children.

Then the Ankur mentally Challenged children performed yoga, The Snehalaya children made everyone happy.

Then all broke for lunch in the nearby hall. A sumptuous meal with different items like pulav, chapati, moong bhaji, sweet dish, manchurian, was served in groups.

After the lunch cultural items were presented by the participants which depicted the culture of the place the dance, songs, by the differently challenged children were the feast to the eyes of the audience.

Then the children performed a cultural programme. All of them received the certificates. After this, all the children received take away gifts like a box. Inside that sweets and biscuits and fruits & also sweet corn was served as they went back.
