AMAR # 735 Workers' Day Celebration at Aux-Wadala

  In order to pay homage to the working class of our school, the Workers’ Day was celebrated in the school ground on 15th February at 8.30 a.m.

The programme began with a warm welcome at the entrance of the school ground. The workers were presented with a floral tribute. It was followed by a prayer moment and lighting of the lamp. Sr. Meena D’Silva, the animator then presented the gifts to the entire workers’ group as a token of appreciation and love. A dance was then performed by the primary students to felicitate Mrs.Auxilia aunty for putting her 46 years of service. The students of the secondary then performed in a musical drama which brought about the importance of education in our lives. The secondary students then performed a dance to felicitate the efforts put in by Mrs. Mamtibai.

Sr. Meena then acknowledged the valuable service rendered by the two senior most retiring staff. She also praised all the workers for their strong commitment towards the school. Mr. Shrikanth expressed his gratitude towards the Sisters, teachers, and students through his thought-filled speech.

The students conducted various games to the workers which made the day and enjoyable one. The celebration ended with the meal. We thank GOD for our workers who render their selfless service to our institute. May the Lord bless them and reward them.
