We began our summer club on 15th April and concluded on 3rd May. There were 31 children present for the summer club. On the first day we gathered them and Sr. Gracy Thomas, the animator gave them a short thought to encourage them. We proceeded for the next programme as we divided them into four groups and provided them various arts and craft works. They had drawing, dance, and karate classes. They were following their timetable accordingly. The timing was from 10 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Children were happy to come for the summer club and enjoyed daily coming to our campus. We gave them different types of snacks and organized a various competition for them.
The concluding day of the Summer Club was special. The children put up a program for their parents and sisters. They performed all that they learned during the course of these 2 weeks. They danced, performed karate. Sr. Gracy Thomas was the chief guest for the programme. We distributed prizes to the winners of different competitions. At the end Sr. Sunanda Thombe gave them a concluding thought of guidance and encouraged the parents to send their children for the various courses. Lunch was served to them. They enjoyed the program and went home happy. The snacks for each day and the lunch for the last day were sponsored by different people.
