We, the community of Pushpanjali Dakor were happy to organize the Girl Child Day for all the girls from the different villages. The theme for the Girl Child Day was “Empower the Girl Child for a brighter future” There were altogether 220 girls present for the programme.
The Chief Guest for the programme was Fr. Justus Mendis and our 3 Postulants Ujwala, Gloria & Priyanka who had come for their apostolic experience. The programme began with the prayer dance and lighting of the lamp. Later there was a cultural Programme and the Garba organized in order to bring joy to the faces of our children. After the programme the snacks were served to the children. The children enjoyed the full and went home happily.
