As it is truly said, “Plant a Tree and make the Earth pollution Free”.

           Van Mahotsav week was celebrated with great enthusiasm by students and staff of Auxilium Convent School Ahmednagar. The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the values of social responsibility in the students towards safe guarding trees and forests and various activities.

      On 1st July, Tree plantation drive was conducted in school, where different types of plants and medicinal plants like Alovera, Mint, Tamrind. Fruit trees like Custard apple, Jamun, Fig were planted in school premises and surrounding. Programme was initiated by Respected Manager, Principal and Supervisor. Students were asked to plant minimum one tree in the surrounding near their house and take care of it.

    On 2nd July, Seed collection programme was conducted, where seeds of fruit trees were collected from each class.

   On 3rd July, Students participated in poster making, paper and cloth bag making competition to promote environmental awareness. Students made poster on the topic ‘Green Earth,Clean Earth’ and ‘Ban of Plastic’.

    On 4th July, A rally was conducted where students promoted the value of ‘Green Earth,Clean Earth’ , Save Earth and distributed paper and cloth bags made by them to promote ‘Stop the use of Plastic’.  

   The curiosity to learn and the will to create change were clearly seen in the efforts of the students.

    On 5th July, Seed collected by students were distributed among Eco club members of the school and were asked to plant them.
