On September 8, 2017, Auxilium Convent, Ahmednagar ,the boys and the male staff, teaching and non- teaching celebrated the Girl Child Day. In the opening prayer service, intentions were put forth before the Lord to bless all girl-children and to uphold their rights in every sector and sphere of the society in which we live. 
Later they animated a fun-filled programme with great enthusiasm, love and respect in honour of all the girl-children. The birthday of Mother Mary was celebrated with great delight. The birthday song was sung in her honour and all implored graces and blessings from her on this auspicious occasion. After the programme, the boys distributed sweets to the entire school.
