On 23rd September 2017 a free health camp was held for the neighbouring villages of Ujini Pimplegaon, successfully organized jointly by the Salesian Co-operators and SHGs of Laura Vicuna Niwas –Ahmednagar, under the guidance of Sr. Collette Gonsalves, Co-ordinator of the two Sectors.
After a short prayer moment and a grand opening ceremony at 9.30 am, the resource persons were introduced and felicitated. Expert doctors from renowned hospitals including V.K. Patil, Jeevandara, Global and Vishvaleela did a wonderful job for around 350 patients.
Those who need special treatment or surgery would be treated free or at subsidized rates in their respective hospitals.Our sincere gratitude for the success of this venture also goes to the ZP School for the use of their campus, the collaboration of the sarpanch and the support of our community Sisters.
