CELEBRATING 79 YEARS OF FREEDOM
AUXILIUM BARODA
“Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit and human dignity.” – Herbert Hoove
Auxilium Baroda marked the 79th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2025 with joy and patriotic fervor. The celebration commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Shri Milind Kavatkar, a Gazetted Officer from the Gujarat Sales Tax Department. He was cordially welcomed with a sapling reflecting our commitment to sustainability.

The students through their skit personified India, emphasizing that the nation is not merely a geographical entity, but a living embodiment of our values. One memorable line from the performance stated, “Freedom is not permission, but responsibility – a call to raise our voices for truth, compassion, and justice.” Speeches delivered in Hindi, Gujarati, and English emphasized the crucial role of young citizens in shaping a progressive, inclusive India.

The ceremony began with a prayer service, during which students expressed gratitude for the hard-earned freedom of our country and invoked blessings for harmony and growth. Following this, the Chief Guest hoisted national flag, and all joined in singing of the National Anthem, echoing pride and unity.
A lively cultural presentation followed, featuring patriotic songs, traditional and contemporary dances, and thought-provoking skits. These performances captured the spirit of India’s independence struggle and celebrated the cultural diversity of the nation. The Bardoli Satyagraha was poignantly portrayed, offering a moving glimpse into the nation’s fight for liberty.

The Chief Guest concluded the event with a motivational address, highlighting the need for unity, integrity, sincerity and a sense of duty towards the nation. He shared inspiring anecdotes from the lives of renowned leaders and encouraged students to honour the heritage of those who sacrificed for India's independence. The celebration was a reminder of the freedom we cherish and the duty we share to preserve it. It inspired us to remain committed to building a just, peaceful, and vibrant nation.
