“CELEBRATING FREEDOM, INSPIRING THE FUTURE” AUXILIUM NANDGAD
On 15th August, the 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and joy at Auxilium Nandgad. The celebration aimed to instil in the students a deep sense of patriotism, unity, responsibility and love for our nation.

On 15th August, the 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and joy at Auxilium Nandgad. The celebration aimed to instil in the students a deep sense of patriotism, unity, responsibility and love for our nation.
The programme began At 7.45 am with beautiful anchoring, welcoming the gathering and setting the spirit of the celebration. The Chief Guest, Mr. Umesh Patil, a retired Army man, and our Manager, Sr. Latha, were warmly welcomed by the school band. The band performance added a sense of grandeur and patriotic fervour to their arrival.
This was followed by a meaningful prayer service, seeking God’s blessings for our nation and remembering with gratitude all those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was the highlight of the celebration. The National Flag was hoisted with due honour and respect, filling everyone’s hearts with pride and patriotism. The gathering then stood respectfully for the National Song.
The students presented a vibrant patriotic dance, expressing their love for the motherland through music and movement. This was followed by Kannada, Hindi and English speeches, through which the students shared inspiring thoughts on India’s freedom, unity, diversity and the responsibilities of its citizens.
A creative mime show was presented by the students, highlighting the value of freedom and recalling the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters. The programme concluded with a melodious patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of love and pride for our nation.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Umesh Patil, shared his experiences as a retired Army man and spoke with great pride and love for our motherland. In his inspiring address, he said that he could “see India here” in the students. He encouraged them to become responsible and patriotic citizens and stressed the importance of having a clear aim in life.
He motivated the students to work hard, make good use of their talents and education, and strive to do something meaningful for the nation. His words inspired the students to dream big, remain dedicated to their goals and contribute towards building a stronger and better India.
The entire celebration was a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone. It reminded us that freedom is not only a gift received from our great freedom fighters but also a responsibility entrusted to every citizen. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to respect our nation, uphold unity and contribute towards the growth and well-being of our beloved India.
