Celebrating our Mother and Co-foundress at Auxilium Lonavla

The feast of Mother Mazzarello was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Auxilium Convent, Lonavla. The celebration was graced by the presence of our Principal, Sr Shiny Alphonse. The program was also attended by the Sisters, teachers, students and staff members, making the occasion joyful and memorable.

To begin with, the Sisters were led in procession into the decorated terrace, followed by a prayer service that created a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere. A meaningful skit based on the simple yet thought-provoking life of St. Mary Mazzarello was presented by the students. This was followed by a cheerful dance performance and melodious song in honour of our saintly co-foundress.

Sr Shiny Alphonse, the Principal, then delivered an inspiring message in a rather interactive way, based on the values picked up by the gathering on the saint's life. She encouraged everyone to practice hardwork, faith in God, humility, love and selfless service in their daily lives in accordance to St Mary Mazzarello. The students were active and eager to participate and receive little rewards for their accurate responses.

The program continued with the prize distribution ceremony during which the students who had achieved 100% attendance in the previous year were complimented. The Blue house captain, Ms Shravani Jadhav then delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.

Finally the programme ended with a photography session, capturing the joyful moments of the feast of Mother Mazzarello.
