Celebrating the Sanctity of St Mary Mazzarello at Auxilium International Wadala

On 13th July 2026, Auxilium International School, Wadala, joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Mary Mazzarello, co‑foundress of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. The occasion was marked by prayer, reflection, and creative enactments that highlighted her life and legacy.The celebration commenced with a prayer service, invoking God’s blessings and seeking the intercession of Mother Mazzarello. The prayer movement reminded participants of her profound love for God and her conviction that holiness begins with small acts of kindness. It also emphasized the call to let one’s light shine before others, echoing the values she lived by.The program was enriched by a skit, thoughtfully performed by the facilitators. It portrayed incidents from her early years — her honesty, simplicity, and cheerful spirit — and culminated in her vocation as a Sister and the founding of the Salesian Sisters’ Congregation. The dramatization vividly illustrated her journey of faith and service, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.A song dedicated to her life followed, resonating with devotion and joy. Its verses reflected her humility, generosity, and unwavering trust in God. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and inspiration, as participants reflected on her example of living with sincerity and love. At the conclusion of the program, Sr. Shanthi, our Principal, addressed the learners with a heartfelt message. She reminded them that they should always remain honest and cheerful in every moment of life, just as Mother Mazzarello exemplified through her words and actions.

The celebration ended on a joyful note, leaving the entire school community inspired to emulate the values of honesty, prayer, and cheerful service in their daily lives.
