CELEBRATION OF THE FEAST OF SAINT MARY DOMENICA MAZZARELLO - DAKOR

In his homily, Fr. Dinesh reflected on the parable of the Sower, highlighting the different kinds of seeds and the soil on which they fall. He invited everyone to become fertile soil by welcoming God's Word with an open heart and allowing it to bear fruit in their daily lives. Drawing inspiration from the life of Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello, he encouraged the faithful to imitate her love for God, deep faith, dedication to duty, and motherly concern for the young. He reminded everyone that, like Mother Mazzarello, we are called to become instruments of God's love by serving others with generosity and hope.

The celebration concluded with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello. Her life, dedicated to God and the young, continues to inspire us to follow her example each day. The celebration was a joyful and prayerful experience that united everyone in faith and renewed our commitment to live the Salesian spirit with love, joy, and service.

On 12 July 2026, the Sisters of Pushpanjali, Dakor, joyfully celebrated the Feast of Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello, the co-foundress of our Institute, together with the parishioners, Don Bosco Boarding boys, Pushpanjali Junior Hostel girls, and the Sisters.

The celebration began at 9:00 a.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, followed by a short enactment on the life of Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello, beautifully portraying her deep faith, simplicity, and loving service to the young.

The celebration reached its spiritual climax with the Holy Eucharist at the Christ the King Parish Church. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dinesh Vasava, SDB, Parish Priest and Administrator of the Community, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Pravin Macwan, SDB, Rector of the Community, Rev. Fr. Jerome Edison, SDB, and Rev. Deacon Sanjay Nilama, SDB.
