“CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT GUJARAT REGION - 2025”

The Children’s Day Celebration at the Gujarat Region unfolded with great vibrancy and enthusiasm on 30 November 2025 at the Dakor Pushpanjali Society in Kheda District, where nearly 800 children from Dakor, Pansora, Gandhinagar, and Baroda gathered for a joyful, enriching, and memorable day.

The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. Yogendrasinh Parmar, Hon’ble MLA of Thasra, whose warm interaction with the children added immense value to the celebration. Following the formal welcome, the programme was enriched by two insightful sessions: Sr. Manjula Tuskano, Dominican Sister and lawyer, offered an enlightening talk on the POCSO Act, while Sr. Manisha Parmar, Sahayini Development Officer, highlighted the fundamental rights of children with clarity and conviction and Sr. Rita Dora Thomas too enlightened the children with a meaningful message.

The awareness rally taken out by the children through the surrounding locality added a powerful dimension to the day, as they confidently spread messages on safety and child rights to the wider community, setting a purposeful tone for the rest of the celebration. This spirit of engagement flowed seamlessly into the cultural segment, where graceful and energetic dance performances by the participating children captivated the audience and brought alive the colours of their diverse villages. Adding to the festive delight, the children enthusiastically enjoyed a series of joyful game challenges and explored a variety of food stalls that created an atmosphere of fun, excitement, and togetherness. More than a festive gathering, the event emerged as a meaningful platform for learning, cultural expression, community bonding, and holistic joy, making it a truly remarkable and impactful Children’s Day celebration for the entire Gujarat Region.
