“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)

We as a community celebrated Gratitude Day from 13–22 November 2025, entering into a grace-filled season of thanksgiving under the theme “Flames of Hope.” Each day was marked by prayer, reflection, and the practice of one fruit of the Holy Spirit—Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Generosity.

On 21st November, a solemn Vigil Service led by Sr. Maria Shirsat honored the sisters’ silent sacrifices, followed by joyful surprises and a community meal. The 22nd began with morning prayer led by Sr. Justina Rodrigues, the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Ajit Mounis SDB and animated by Sr. Savita Parkhe, with an inspiring homily linking the theme to community life. In the evening, Sr. Annette Nellineil and Sr. Margaret Annaswamy guided the Visit to the Blessed Sacrament and the Rosary, followed by a creatively animated evening prayer before the Blessed Sacrament by Sr. Reshma Rosario, preparing hearts for a cultural programme of affection and gratitude.

Music, liturgy, visits, and daily gestures of love enriched the celebration, with the Superior warmly appreciating the sisters’ creativity and commitment.

School Gratitude Day

29th November 2025

Gratitude Day was celebrated with deep warmth and reverence as a heartfelt tribute to the School Sisters, whose tireless dedication and selfless service inspire the Auxilium family.

The programme began with a serene prayer service, followed by dances, songs, skits, and messages from students, each expressing love and thankfulness. Teachers and students together offered handmade cards, flowers, and tokens of appreciation, honoring the Sisters’ role in nurturing values and faith.

Sister Rita Lobo, our manager, shared inspiring words on the beauty of gratitude and the joy of serving others. The celebration concluded joyfully, renewing unity and respect, and reminding us to cherish those who enrich our lives—especially our dear School Sisters who lead with compassion and grace.
