EXPOSURE VISIT TO LAVAL SAKUL: A JOURNEY OF COMPASSION AND AWARENESS

On 3rd August 2025, the Self-Help Group (SHG) women from Pansora went on an enriching exposure visit to Laval Sakul, a care center dedicated to providing shelter and support to the elderly, orphaned children, and children with disabilities.

A total of 45 women participated in this meaningful experience, accompanied by Sr. Shaila D’Monte and a team of committed social workers. The visit offered the participants a firsthand glimpse into the compassionate care extended by the Laval Sakul team to the most vulnerable members of society. The initiative, supported by a local NGO, served as a powerful source of inspiration for the SHG women. They were deeply moved by the love, dedication, and sense of responsibility demonstrated by the caregivers at the center. This exposure visit was more than just an outing—it was an eye-opening experience that fostered greater awareness of social responsibility. The women returned home not only touched by what they witnessed but also empowered to make a difference within their own communities by extending support to those in need.

Through such visits, the seeds of empathy, solidarity, and service are sown nurturing a more inclusive and caring society.
