FEAST OF LAURA VICUNA, REPUBLIC DAY & THE FEAST DON BOSCO
Auxilium Nandgad joyfully marked January with meaningful celebrations, beginning on 22nd January with the feast of Blessed Laura Vicuña through a short prayerful program reflecting on her inspiring life. The school also celebrated Republic Day with great patriotic fervour, graced by the presence of Fr. Prashant Kumar, with active participation from students and staff. The month concluded on 31st January with the feast of Don Bosco, celebrated with devotion through a symbolic prayer moment highlighting his values and mission.

On 22nd January, Auxilium Nangad celebrated the feast of Blessed Laura Vicuña with a short and meaningful program. The celebration began with a prayer moment that helped everyone recollect themselves and remember the inspiring life of this teenage saint.
This was followed by a beautiful dance and a song based on the life of Blessed Laura Vicuña, highlighting her faith, sacrifice, love for her family, and deep trust in God. The performances helped the participants understand her virtues in a simple and touching way.
Sr. Machline delivered a very meaningful message on the life of Blessed Laura Vicuña. She explained how Laura’s example encourages us to help others grow in goodness and faith. She reminded us that before helping others become better persons, we must first strive to become holy in our own daily lives through small acts of love, obedience, and sincerity. The program was simple yet inspiring and left everyone with a strong message to follow the path of holiness and service.




Auxilium Nandgad celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration was held in a dignified and joyful manner with the active participation of students and staff. Fr. Prashant Kumar from IC Church was the chief guest for the occasion. The program began with the school band escorting the chief guest and the manager, Sr. Latha, to the venue.
The celebration continued with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the salute, the National Anthem, the National Song, and the Zenda Geet, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. A prayer moment was conducted to seek God’s blessings for the nation. Speeches were delivered in Hindi, English, and Kannada, highlighting the importance of Republic Day and our duties as responsible citizens. The students presented beautiful patriotic dances and songs that expressed love for the country. A meaningful skit was performed showing how people of all religions should come together to build a strong and united nation. It carried a powerful message of harmony and unity in diversity. The chief guest gave a beautiful, interactive, and inspirational talk, encouraging the students to grow as responsible and value-based citizens. The program concluded with the distribution of sweets to all. The celebration was meaningful, inspiring, and filled with national pride.


On 31st January, Auxilium Nandgad celebrated the feast of Don Bosco, our Father and Founder, with great joy and devotion. The program began with a meaningful prayer moment using different symbols that highlighted the values and spirituality of Don Bosco’s life and mission. During the welcome address, the students warmly expressed their love and gratitude by presenting greeting cards to each sister. The celebration continued with songs and dances prepared by the students. A beautiful drama on the life of Don Bosco and the call to holiness was performed, helping everyone understand his dedication to young people and his path of sanctity.
Manager Sr. Latha delivered an inspiring message to the students, encouraging them to follow the values taught by Don Bosco and to grow in goodness and holiness. The gathering thanked God for the gift of Don Bosco and his mission in the Church. The program concluded with a joyful photo session. The entire celebration was meaningful, lively, and spiritually enriching for everyone present.
