The Feast of St. Dominic Savio was joyfully celebrated on 2nd August 2025 by the Red House at Auxilium Convent High School, in the gracious presence of Sr. Reshma Rosario, Headmistress of the Primary Section.

The celebration began with a solemn Prayer Service, led by Sr. Annette and Sr. Margaret, who initiated the ceremony by lighting the lamp, offering a garland and flowers, and reverently venerating the portrait of St. Dominic Savio. A hymn in praise of the young saint played softly in the background, creating a serene and prayerful atmosphere.

A skit depicting the life of St. Dominic Savio was beautifully animated by the students. It highlighted his deep spirit of prayerfulness, unwavering devotion to God, and his disciplined, studious nature. The performance served as a powerful reminder of the virtues that shaped his short yet impactful life.

Following the skit, Sr. Reshma Rosario addressed the students, speaking about the qualities that define a saint. She engaged the audience with a short quiz, encouraging them to reflect on the virtues required to attain sainthood—such as humility, obedience, purity, and love for God.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the meaningful celebration.

The event was a beautiful tribute to St. Dominic Savio, inspiring students to walk in the footsteps of holiness and live with purpose and faith.
