Get Your Spelling Right!!

A Spell Bee Competition was held on Friday, 24th July, on the terrace of Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavala. The event was organised by the teachers of the Laura Vicuna Group to encourage students to develop their English language skills.

The competition was conducted as an inter-house event, divided into two categories as follows Juniors (Classes 5th to 7th) and Seniors (Classes 8th to 10th). The competition had four challenging rounds, followed by an audience round that kept everyone actively involved. The participants displayed confidence and determination, while the audience enthusiastically supported their houses.

In the Juniors category, the Yellow House secured the first position, Green House ranked second and Blue House stood third. In the Seniors category, the Red House secured the first position, Blue House ranked second while the Yellow House stood third.

The Principal, Sr Shiny Alphonse gave away the trophies to the jubilant teams. She appreciated the efforts of all the participants and congratulated the winners. The Spell Bee Competition was a great success enthusing everyone to check their spellings and increase their vocabulary.
