GIRL CHILD DAY CELEBRATION – AUXILIUM LONAVLA

The Girl Child Day celebration was held at the basement hall on September 8, 2025. The program was attended by Manager of the school Sr. Rosy Mascarenhas, Principal Sr. Shiny Alphonse, sisters, teachers, and students. It commenced with a prayer service, setting a reflective tone for the event.

The students presented a thought-provoking skit on early marriage of the girl child, highlighting the challenges faced by girls in the society. This was followed by a series of captivating performances, including dances and a melodious song sung by Bhagyashree and her fellow friends. A miming act depicting the plight of the girl child was also performed, followed by a dance act that portrayed the achievements of the girls in the society.

During the program, MTS exam certificates were distributed to recognize the academic accomplishments of students. Sr. Rosy addressed the students in which she emphasized the importance of empowering girl children. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Maitri Rawat, who expressed gratitude to all participants and attendees.
