On July 12 th and 13 th 2024,both the English and Gujarati mediums of Auxilium Convent High School, Vadodara, celebrated its House Feast, honoring Saints renowned for their virtue and deeds. It was a vibrant and memorable event, highlighting the spirit of unity and reverence among the students and staff. The celebration began with a prayer service, followed by the presentation of saplings to all the Sisters and leading into a series of captivating performances by our talented students. The highlight of the celebration was the beautifully performed skits and dances that depicted the lives and virtues of the saints representing our four houses: Mother Mazzarello, Don Bosco, Saint Joseph, and the Guardian Angel The performances not only celebrated the legacies of these saints but also instilled their values in the hearts of all present, encouraging everyone to emulate their virtues in daily life. At the end of the program our Superior Sr Priscilla Travasso, delivered an inspiring speech, acknowledging and appreciating the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers in making the event a success and summed up the importance of the present moment or the ‘now’ in two words - ‘Just Now’. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, wrapping up a day filled with inspiration, appreciation, and a renewed commitment to living out the virtues of our patron saints. This memorable event not only celebrated our saints but also reinforced the values that guide our school community. We thank our Principal, Sr Philomena Lobo, and the teachers for their encouragement guidance and support.
A happy feast to all!!!
